同时，实验任务中可以引入“delay”，以检测动物的记忆保持能力。5选择序列反应时任务范式中（5-CSRT ，5-Choice Serial Reaction Time）动物通过对5孔观察，在规定时间对点亮的孔做出正确的笔触响应，便可得到食物或者饮水奖励。因此，可以设置不同的测试次数，奖赏时间，提示时间，delay时间等，应用于不同的研究方向。
